with shoes and socks both are likely to not be allowed. Shoes as mentioned elsewhere could damage the pool or other pool users. Socks i suspect not Due to slip hazard. The easiest way aside From asking is to do survival training. For me Got as far as shirt and trousers as i lost interest but others wore t shirts and sweatshirts in addition to the clothes i wore. Thats just from what i ve seen but i know at one time socks were allowed.
