Buy whatever fits you the best and whatever you like. It does not matter what you wear. I have worn white briefs or all my clothes, or various combinations, when swimming in a hotel pool, or mine. Most people do not care. Wear what is comfortable or what you have on at the moment. Just do it and have fun.
Here I am, after a hot day at work. Came home and just got in my pool, shoes, etc. but without my cell phone and billfold.
Had a blast!
