Glad you liked the story! I did keep my shorts dry. Once I got out of my wet clothes, I didn't go in the water anymore. I laid the wet tee-shirt and shoes out in the sun to dry and sat on the beach in the shorts watching others while the clothes dried. Also, I'd been wet in clothes before. There was this creek near to where I lived that I used to go wading in, always in long pants and a tee-shirt.
