First time swimming in my clothes

Hi all. I am new here. 31 years old from California.

The first time that I ever went swimming in my clothes was when I was at a birthday party for a classmate. I was 7 years old, and at some point I got lost from the group, and I panicked. I ran up a small hill and found a nearby beach, with a couple of people swimming and playing in the water. My young mind thought that they were partygoers who broke away to go for a swim. The water was so tempting, and I didn’t want to miss out, so I took off my shoes and socks, left them on the beach, and ran straight into the ocean fully clothed with a t-shirt and jeans. I swam up to my neck, and within seconds all of my worries about getting lost suddenly melted away. It turned out that the others in the water were not who I was looking for, but the water felt warm and inviting. A wave gently brushed past the top of my shirt, which felt good.

When I got out, I noticed that my jeans were heavier and my shirt was sticking to me, which was new and a little weird. But I loved swimming in my clothes for the very first time.
