Took advantage of the nice warm weather today to take a hike up in the hills around a lake I like to visit. I was in my usual jeans, briefs, leather belt, white socks, green T, and nike sneakers. There is one spot as you circle the lake, where you need to climb a rock or two to get to the next part. I love this rock, as it's perfect for looking out over the lake and jumping in. I didn't know the water temp, but assumed it was going to be chilly. But since no one was around, I just went for it and dove off the rock into the lake fully clothed. It was chill for sure, but nothing too shocking so I stayed in the water for a few minutes before sloshing out. My clothes were soaked, my shoes were squishing water out. I took my shirt off to wring it out, then put it back on for the hike back. I saw 2 people on the way back, and neither noticed I was wet. I got to my car and stripped to my tighty whities so I could dry off, then put on some trackies I had in the trunk for the damp ride home. It felt great to swim this early in the year, and even better when I was fully clothed.
