I went on a canoe trip with my cousin on a church outing. It was kind of cool that day so everyone was dressed in jeans and flannel shirts and such. Hoodies were not a thing yet. We didn't have life vest either. My cousin was in one canoe with his girl friend and I was in another canoe with a boy that I didn't know. We came to a split in the river and my cousin said let's take the left fork and we did. We were sailing along just fine until I noticed my cousin was checking the depth of the river with his paddle and looking at me the whole time. the next thing I know he jumps out of the canoe dumping his girl friend and comes over to my canoe and dumps us. Good thing the water was warm cause we ended up soaked. Jeans briefs tshirt flannel shirt shoes and socks were now completely soaked and we were all standing in the river laughing at each other. Not expected but what fun it was.
