I get the impression Dante wasn't one of us. In the Inferno, he depicted the eternal punishment for gluttony was to lie down in a puddle in the rain, and he depicted the eternal punishment for sullenness to be completely immersed in liquid mud. It's all enough to make me want to stuff my face and pout.
