Wow! Thanks for sharing, honestly it’s the best recount I’ve ever read on this site, and your parents were ahead of there time! Wish I had a dad like yours growing up with his sense of humor in what could have been an ugly event if he wasn’t so open minded. And I think your mom took it well also!
