Pete, I grew up in tobacco country of NC amd really enjoy your stories. I understand not being able to go home, as last time I went back, over 15 years ago, I saw the house where I grew up, but couldn't go past the road. Everything around was grown up, my pond had houses around it, the woods were a neighborhood, and the tobacco fields were gone. For better or worse for you, I hope you got to see where some places where you and your brother had some fun times and had good memories of your friends
