My mother and our neighbor Norma were sitting on lawn chairs as I was finishing some yard work. As I was done I said to them, "I think you should move this conversation inside, because society judges harshly old ladies who hang out in 105°F heat too long." My mother told me to turn on the lawn sprinkler, so I did. There they remain. I think they've developed an interest.
