I won’t lie, I enjoyed his writing so much that I try to copy his style. I took before and after pics of everyone - clean and dry before we set off, then wet after jumping in the water at the dell, and finally completely covered in mud before we walked back along the stream. All the guys have sent copies to their parents just to prove they are behaving themselves! They caused some surprise and Wes got a telling off for getting wet and muddy in his clothes, his mum is a bit of a “clean freak” apparently.
