Everything came out spotless and white as when they were new. It was fun to do but we were all feeling very cold after the event, I think the excitement of doing it at the time kept us feeling warm enough. I noticed Kevin was shivering as we stopped to chat with Mari, but a few minutes under a hot shower soon cured that. The cold didn't seem to affect Chris in the slightest, he was still as hugely excited when we got to the showers as he was after jumping in the mud, washing off in the pit and stream (which was the bit that saw me shrink), stopping to chat with Mari - she had a twinkle in her eye when she saw him - and all the time we were showering and changing into dry things. How does he do that?
