Dave and I both wear Puma boots, the ones they recommend for playing on soft ground as most of the pitches we play on are pretty cr*p, including the ones at school (but don't tell anyone I said that!). The kit is going in for a second wash today, but it looked reasonably OK after just one cycle with a biological powder and some Vanish whitener.

It is fun getting totally muddy, unless it gets in your eyes, and I love the feel of mud soaked clothes sliding over my body and feeling it all run down you and drip off when you stand up. Football kit is particularly good but I like jeans as well, preferring skinny fit as you really know how wet and muddy you are in those. Now I've posted once, I'll being doing more definitely now it is not so cold.
