I was there back in 1979, so a long time ago. Had never been there before and not back since. One of my army friends was stationed there with his wife and new baby. I had no real idea what to expect. We did do some hiking but there were no muddy trails. Since you last posted I did go on line and saw some mud hike vids. If I ever do manage to get back I will definitely check it out. I do know when I was there you could be standing in nice bright sunshine and 10 feet away it would suddenly start raining. Then it would clear up as quickly as it began. Everything was very relaxed and informal.
