Missing Out on Mud

Was supposed to attend The Dirty Dog Mud Run at Thomas College this morning. It's a five K run with various obstacles but lots of mud. Was really looking forward to it as I have done it before and even won an award for Most Muddy in the past. Plus I have grown a full beard and was looking forward to seeing how that would look covered in mud.
Alas I got ill with a bad cold on Easter Sunday and have felt miserable all week. Today is the first day I have felt like a human being again but don't have tons of energy. So figured it was best to skip this one and wait for the next one at the end of May. I am totally bummed and jealous of those dirty dogs who were able to get in the mud!
