When I was a kid I saw a boy swimming in a pool in his white nylon PE shorts and I couldn't stop looking at him. He looked at me and he asked what I was looking at and I then had to look away.
I had never seen him again but I then started swimming in the sea and in pools in my black nylon shorts and saw some other boys from school wearing the same and I wish I swam with them.
I now wear white nylon shorts on holiday in the sea and love it. Wish more guys would wear the same.
