Couldn't just leave him and although he didn't seem too bothered about getting soaked and filthy, he did look quite a youngster to be just left on his own stuck in the mud. He seemed like a cool kid and was at least grateful for being helped; better than being given the usual finger and being told to "F**k Off!" !! I guess I just thought how I'd have felt in hs position and it was, after all, a good excuse to get muddy !!
