On Friday just gone, my neighbours went away on a caravan weekend and I was asked if I could water their garden and greenhouse. I agreed as they have helped me out a lot since I was a child. So later that day, I went round and let myself in through their sidegate and set about watering their plants and vegetables. I was starting to feel hot halfway through and I derected the hose onto my face and worked my way down soaking my clothes. I was wearing a white Umbro Tshirt, Jeans, underwear, socks and blue canvas shoes.
It felt so good to be wet as the water cascaded down my body and into my shoes.
I continued working in the garden in my wet clothes until I finished and sloshed my way back home.
I turned on the shower and jumped in fully clothed and rinsed off particles of dirt of my clothes that I had got on my clothes from doing the greenhouse.
After my shower, I put my clothes out on the washing line to dry thanks to the lovely summer we've got in the UK at the moment and I put my canvas shoes out in the sun to dry. In fact, by the next morning they were totally dry and ready for another adventure, but that's in Part 2.
