It used to be that when I'd mow the lawn, I'd last about 10 minutes before getting too hot. 2 minutes walking, 3 minutes starting, 2 minutes walking back and 3 minutes mowing. 20 minutes cooling down.
Duty cycle 10%.
Now I wet at least my t-shirt. 2+3+2 is still there. But I can mow for 20, with a 10 min cooldown.
Duty cycle 79%.
Amazing what a pint of wet can do. (Yes, there's a pun there.)
