Wet day in Florida

One afternoon last week I got off work early and drive to Cocoa Beach near Orlando Florida. I was in my office attire of brown cotton sport jacket, tan 8 pocket cargo pants, black tee, light blue dress shirt, black tee and light brown tie.
I carefully took off my docksider shoes and black socks as I did not want to ruin them.
And then I simply paraded into the ocean near the pier I got a lot of odd looks from the beach goers but struck up a conversation with a group of other 20 something guys and gals there. I said I did not have my swim suit and simply wanted to cool off. So what I had was my swim suit. They liked the idea and when I left them, they were contemplating the same thing for their next visit.
I swam around in the very warm surf for a while and then sclurched out and walked a good length of the beach and back. The sand was quite hot in the sun so I ended up back in sea before, grabbing my dry shoes and socks, heading to the car, tossing a towel on the seat and heading home.
