Well, I have gone swimming in shoes and socks before, but I decided not to wear them in the dunk tank since we would still have to walk around the carnival, and then ride my bike home. I thought staying in wet shoes and socks for that long wound be uncomfortable, and I didn't want to do a 6 mile bike ride barefoot!
